My story of the love for Tim comes later than most. What I’ve noticed watching his shows , is that , well , he moved so fast with what he was doing . No one knew the words fully. They loved the music but maybe didn’t have enough time to memorize all the words. Once the world caught up to hearing and listening to his iconic songs over and over .. he was gone. So that’s it. That’s what’s hard. But we all know the words now ❤️

In August 2019 (I was 12) my friends and I went to the beach for a birthday party. The father of the birthday kid was the driver and he played "The Nights" in the multimedia system, and I remember that I was shocked from how good the song was. Avicii shaped my childhood. Avicii was my childhood, when I was younger, me and my dad would go on ski trips to Cerler, in Spain. In a memory card set inside the card, my father had a playlist flooded with edm songs from Kygo and David Guetta, but mostly with songs by Avicii, like Wake Me Up and Hey Brother, so I basically grew surrounded by Avicii’s sounds. Tim will always be loved, therefore never forgotten.

I am off my antidepressants and in recovery from severe depressive and anxiety disorders. Tim and his lasting impact on music is what gets me up everyday and makes me the happiest, most loving person I can be. His soul is the most beautiful thing, he is at peace, and I am at peace because of him.

Two years ago, I suffered from depression. I couldn't find purpose of life, I was emotionally scattered. I was on the verge of commiting. I came across Tim's music and I found myself in almost every song of his. Tim cured me, he helped me find purpose of life and happiness. Every time I feel sad, I come back to listen to his songs. It’s 2025, I’m hearing him loud & clear thru his lyrics (from the top- Summertime Set Ball via YT).. admittedly, I was a little late (a yr) into {reeeeeally} appreciating this genre, but I knew Levels. Hah. Anyway, recently, Avicii was on my mind (‘I could be the one’, specifically), and well, we’re approaching his anniversary & I’m mixed tears happy he’d found peace & sad bc I miss him dearly… if you watch any of his videos… he’s soooo into the feels of the music it’s so cute &.. irreplaceable.
Im 46, discovered Tim before he was big, loved him from day one. Saw him live 3 times. His music makes me happy, it’s an escape… he was way ahead of his time. Now, My daughters, age 10 and 15, love his music. I listen to his music and feel a connection, a comfort, and love. Thank you my friend.
